Welcome to the Long Island Educational Opportunity Center. We have been helping students achieve their educational and vocational goals for over 50 years. Under the oversight of SUNY, the LIEOC is the place where you can achieve your goals academically or in the workforce, and our classes are all tuition-free. As you embark on your journey, please remember that quality education has the power to change lives and improve quality of life. Let us help you achieve your goal! As you progress through your classes, please remember we are here to assist you, whether it be classwork, a problem trying to get a class, or a problem outside of school … we are here. Our Mission
The Long Island EOC collaborates with higher education, business, industry, government, and its communities, to create a skilled workforce that remains competitive and vibrant in a global economy. We offer a variety of programs at our two locations that include the following: Allied Health Education, Business Careers and Technology, Adult Basic Education, College Preparation, High School Equivalency (HSE), English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL), and creative design opportunities through our Entrepreneur Technology Center’s Designing for Digital Content Program. In addition, we offer over 32 occupational, academic, and self-development courses at our ATTAIN lab located in Brentwood.
