Taking an in-person class offers several advantages compared to online or remote learning. In-person classes allow face-to-face interaction with the instructor and classmates, enhancing understanding and engagement. Students can receive immediate feedback on their questions or assignments, allowing quicker clarification and learning. Hands-on experience is essential in many subjects, especially those involving practical skills or lab work, and they benefit from hands-on experience that is more easily facilitated in an in-person setting. A structured environment is essential. In-person classes provide a structured learning environment with scheduled class times, which can help students stay disciplined and focused and increase their social Interaction. Attending in-classroom courses provides opportunities for face-to-face interaction, networking, and collaboration with peers, which can enhance the learning experience and lead to lasting relationships. In-person learning often provides access to facilities such as libraries and labs.
We have now implemented a new distance learning technology system (LMS Brightspace) to allow you to take your class virtually from home during the Spring 2024 semester.
